Laguna Beach is a privately owned, well appointed, townhouse set amid beautifully maintained tropical gardens at the edge of Estepona. This is a small quiet urbanisation perfect for a car free holiday all year round.

The property is located only 5 minutes walk from several shops and restaurants and the bus terminal to catch a ride to visit places such as Gibraltar, Caseras, & Marbella. Best of all, only a relaxed 15 minute walk along the Senda Litoral will have you arrive at the main promenade in Estepona's town center and Estepona’s historic Old Town, filled with countless shops and restaurants.

Rental terms

All the above rates are for a maximum of five guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance & all linen/towels (except beach towels). For bookings up to 13 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 14 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean. We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £12.50€15.25 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00€183.00 per person. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

Furnished for comfort and relaxation

Laguna Beach is set over 3 floors. The ground level is open plan with a kitchen, dining room & south facing lounge that opens directly onto your private terrace. For your entertainment there is a flat screen smart TV with an IPTV system (internet television). The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob (stove tops), electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, toaster etc. Please note the washing machine is located in the upstairs shower room. Also located on the ground level is a cloakroom with a w/c & basin.

The three bedrooms are situated on the upper 2 floors and are equipped with AC units for when needed. However, all windows and doors (with the exception of the main entrance door) are fitted with high quality screens that can be closed to keep out the bugs, but invite in the gentle cooling breeze for a refreshing sleep.

On the first floor you will find two of the three bedrooms. The master bedroom is located at the front of the house and has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath, w/c and basin. This room has a south facing Juliette balcony overlooking the patio with views of the gardens and the pool. The second bedroom is a twin with two single beds. These are a zip & link and can be joined and set up as a king bed on request. Also, on this level is a shower room with a rain shower, w/c and basin. The washing machine and dryer are located in this room.

A marble staircase to the third floor leads to a large room containing a full-size single bed, a desk, chair, and the best views in the house of the gardens and the Mediterranean. This room is multifunctional as it can serve as a third bedroom, a working space for a digital nomad, or a lounging area to share a glass of wine and enjoy the views. Please note this room does not have a door and is open to the stairs, therefore it is more suitable for an older child or as an office.

Fantastic pool and direct access to the beach

The lounge opens directly onto your gated private patio of 300 sq ft. There is an outdoor dining table and a charcoal BBQ. The patio opens onto the beautiful manicured, community gardens accessible only to residents of Laguna Beach. The large swimming pool has ample room to relax in the sun. Five carry down sun beds are provided for your private use. At the end of the garden are several benches where you can sit and enjoy the sea views, majestic Gibraltar, and the African coast line. The gardens exit through a private (locked) gate unto the famous Senda Litoral (coastal path).

An enjoyable walk along the Senda Litoral into Estepona

The Senda Litoral, coastal path follows the Mediterranean sea shore line for miles in either direction along the Costa del Sol. A relaxing 15 minute walk along the coastal path will have you arrive at the main promenade in Estepona's town centre and historic Old Town, filled with countless shops, restaurants, pretty streets and plazas. The walk begins by passing the remains of an 18th Century aqueduct and the Santiago de Santiago sculpture park, then continues along the waterfront with the sea on your left and restaurants on your right.

One of my favourite places is Plaza de las Flores, a pretty square in the old quarter of Estepona. With the scent of Jasmine in the air and the many tropical plants, this is a lovely place to watch the world go by. Plaza de las Flores is lined with cafes and tapas bars with tables to enjoy the warm Spanish weather and sample some tapas accompanied by a glass of wine or a refreshing glass of beer.

With everything you need located close to Laguna Beach you may not want to wander too far, however if you do fancy a little adventure the location of Laguna Beach also provides efficient access to the highway making it ideal for exploring the surrounding towns and the mountains.
