Rental terms
These rates apply to a maximum of six people + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (including pool towels).
For bookings up to 13 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 14 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean.
We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £12.50€15.25 per person, per booking.
This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00€183.00 per person.
A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.
Furnished for comfort and relaxation
Incorporated in the lounge is a dining area and comfortable seating to relax and enjoy the TV and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob (stove tops), electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster etc. There is a second fridge freezer and a washing machine in the utility room.
Also off the lounge is a small sun room enjoying the views and overlooking the pool & garden.
The living accommodation at La Barranca is set all on one level. Leading off the entrance and down a corridor are the 3 bedrooms. The light & airy master bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower, sinks & wc. The 2nd double bedroom also has a double bed with a ceiling fan and the 3rd bedroom has bunk beds for children and a fan. These two rooms share a bathroom with a bath, wc & basin.
Enjoy the warm summer breeze and soak up the Andalucian countryside
The pool area is very private and not overlooked. There are Roman type steps leading into it and the shaded casita is the perfect spot to take a siesta in the shade.
The property has a small orchard you can wander around and help yourself to the fruits in season ... it doesn't get any fresher than this!
Located close to the sandy beaches of the Costa del Sol
Just a short drive from La Barranca is the beach 'Playa el Saladillo'. This is a lovely long, wide beach that doesn't get to over crowded in the high season. There are two beach restaurants 'La Antigua' and 'Pepe's Beach', which also hire sun beds & parasols. For more information on beaches please see our beach guide.
Not far away you will find Selwo wild-life and adventure park for hours of fun for all the family. Or for a taste of the ‘high-life’, you are only a 10 minutes drive away from the jet set resorts of Marbella & Puerto Banus filled with the ‘rich and famous’ and perfect for people watching.
La Barranca is also convenient for visiting the beautiful mountain village of Benahavis. There you can enjoy a stroll around the pretty squares, art and craft shops and enjoy a meal in one of its many restaurants. This gourmet village has the highest concentration of high-class restaurants in the region and draws many visitors who come simply to savour the fantastic cuisine.
There are more than 30 excellent golf courses on the Costa del Sol and many well known courses are close by ... Monte Mayor, Flamingos, El Paraiso, Guadalmina to name a few.
