Rental terms

These rates apply to a maximum of five guests + an infant in a cot/crib (hire of cot/crib is extra) and includes: pool maintenance, gardener & all linen/towels (excluding pool towels). For bookings up to 10 nights the maid service will be on your day of arrival and day of departure only. Bookings for 11 nights or more will also have a mid stay linen/towel change and clean. We don't take a damage deposit, but in addition to the above rates there is a mandatory accidental damage waiver (ADW) fee of £10.00 per person, per booking. This is to cover you for any accidental damage that may occur in your property during your holiday, this will cover you up to the value of £150.00 per person. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 10 weeks before occupation.

Beautifully furnished to a high standard

Dorada del Mar has a light and airy feel. As soon as you enter the property your eyes are drawn to the full length windows in the lounge opening onto a lovely outdoor terrace with amazing, uninterrupted sea views.

The stylishly appointed modern kitchen has granite worktops and is well equipped with a microwave, electric oven, gas hobs, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, toaster etc.

On the ground level is the first bedroom with a single bed and air conditioning. In the entrance hall is a cloakroom with wc & basin. You will also find the washing machine here. The air conditioned lounge has comfortable seating and is equipped with a large flat screen TV, dvd-player, and IPTV (TV via the Internet). The lounge opens onto a lovely private terrace with two sun beds & a dining area with views across the Mediterranean.

On the 1st floor you will find 2 air-conditioned bedrooms at the front of the house: one with a super king size bed (180 cm), small terrace and an ensuite shower room with a walk in shower, wc & basin. The second upstairs bedroom has twin beds (90 x 200) and an ensuite shower room with a walk in shower, wc & basin.

Relax while listening to the sound of waves and gazing out at the uninterrupted sea views. Outdoor living is a big part of a Spanish holiday and Dorada del Mar is a perfect place to do this.

There are 5 pools to choose from at Bahia Dorada, the closest pool is set in lawned gardens with exotic plants and shade for you to enjoy a good book while having a well earned afternoon siesta.

Ideally located Spanish getaway

Dorada del Mar is located approximately half way between the quaint port of Duquesa & the charming marina of Estepona

Duquesa port is a small relaxed place perfect to while away the day people watching whilst sipping a San Miguel or a cafe solo. In the evening the marina comes to life and there is a huge choice of places to eat including Italian, French, Chinese and of course Spanish. The beaches here are excellent. There are two very long, sandy beaches with their own beach bars. One beach stretches to the East as far as Sabinillas and on to Estepona the other winds round the coast to Sotogrande. The beach to the west of Puerto Duquesa (by the old castle) is sheltered and a good choice if you have small children.

Estepona Marina is larger and has a wide selection of bars and restaurants to choose from. I love fresh seafood and my favourites are La Escollera in the fishing port (to the right of the main port) and Le Briconnet del Puerto next to the Club Nautico. El Cristo beach located next to the marina is perfect for children being situated in a delightful sheltered cove with shallow water; there are also two beach chiringitos that serve mouth-watering snacks and seafood.
